A lot of times people feel that they NEED to lose weight but I have found that the majority of people are terrible at being will power thin. Their bodies rebel against being starved, or eating less than they need. I think everyone has a set point weight, some people who try to lose weight end up above it because their inner rebel fights back too hard, some end up above it because they make a habit of eating for reasons outside of hunger & eating past full. Some live with disordered food rules & exercise goals, working their butt off to do no better than hover around their set point weight. Very very few end up below their set point weight with disordered eating. The lucky ones learn to eat when they are hungry, stop when they are satisfied & enjoy all parts of their life free from crazy food rules & exercise goals.
